I’m sure you all know by now just how much I love to read. I seriously read all of the time. I may actually have a problem, if there is such a thing.
Is there such a thing?
So here are a few of my recent favorites!
I’m only on chapter 7, but this book is changing my life.
Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Microwave popcorn. That’s all I’m going to say.
Chronicles of the Kings, Lynn Austin
(I haven’t read Number 5, but I’m assuming it’s just as amazing as the others, but I don’t want it to be over yet, so I refuse to start!)
The Meaning of Marriage, Timothy Keller
If you are married or have thought about getting married, you should read this book. Actually, I think it should be a requirement before you say ‘I do’. I wish I had read this sooner. Seriously, such a good eye-opener!
Fight Back with Joy, Margaret Feinberg
Her story was remarkable. I finished this book in about 12 hours. And it only took me that long because I had to sleep.
Healing Your Marriage When Trust is Broken
If you’ve ever had to deal with infidelity this book is for you. Her experience and the way she handled it all left me in complete awe.
Toxin Toxout, Bruce Lourie/ Rick Smith
So we know how we get toxins inside of us, but can we actually get rid of them?
Yes. This is the bible. But if you’ve never really been able to understand the bible or you have a hard time following along, this one is for you. Breaks it down so we can understand what the heck it all means. Such an amazing resource.
Tables in the Wilderness, Preston Yancey
Such an amazing story. Well written and just such a relatable story. And I know him. So, of course, I’m going to support him!
Do you struggle with anger? Unforgiveness? Read this. I can’t say enough about this book. It changed my life.
(Well, obviously. ;) )
What about you? Have you read any good books lately? I’ve got a reading list a mile long, but I’m always looking for suggestions. Comment with some of your favorites!
