I’ve done a lot of DIY household cleaners. Most of which my husband hated because he claimed that they smelled like yucky vinegar. I couldn’t argue, most of them did smell terrible no matter what I did, but I was determined to continue to make my own because I knew that it was safer for me and my family than what was on the shelves in the store.
It took weeks, months, and a lot of time on Pinterest before I found something that both of us liked, well actually, loved.
These don’t smell like yucky vinegar. I am a huge fan of Lavender and Peppermint Essential Oils and so that’s what I use, but really you can use whatever you want. Customize them to smell the way you want.
Also, since these are household cleaners I wasn’t super picky about what essential oils I used so I just picked up some oils from a craft store to save a little money.
Super easy to make, smells awesome, and keeps the house clean. Doesn’t get much better than that!
