I Just Can’t

For some of you, you may remember my attempt at a book club via the blog. It’s gone pretty well, but if I can be honest with you, it’s just too slow. I read all of the time. I love reading. It’s seriously one of my most favorite things to do and if the book is good enough I can finish it in just a few hours and so I’ve decided that I’m doing away with the book club and I will just be sharing with you what I’m reading every time I read something new. I’d love it if you would join me and if you have ANY recommendations, please let me know!

Alright, so first up, this is actually the third book in the series, and it’s still amazing. I read the first book in two days, the second book in six hours and I’m already halfway through this book and i’ve been reading for about six hours. (I would have been done if it hadn’t been New Years.)

This is a five book series and I seriously recommend that you read this now.

I have never been a fan of the Old Testament. It’s hard for me to understand and it’s hard for me to relate. But with this series the author makes it easy to understand and I find myself relating with these characters asking myself what I would do in their shoes?

This author takes the Old Testament and places people and dialogues with it. She has done an amazing job at keeping true to the Bible and she’s an incredible writer. These books are easy to read, they get you thinking, and soon you become whisked away to another place and time.

Seriously, I cannot recommend these books enough! Now enough chatting, I’ve got a book to read. ;)
