Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings




It has finally turned cool in Texas. We actually had to turn our heat on. And we tend to stay snuggled on the couch as long as we can. And even though I’m not a huge fan of the cold weather, I do love a nice, hearty, Chicken and Dumplings meal. I love it even more when it’s super easy to make and doesn’t cost a lot to make.

This was such a yummy and EASY recipe. Husband and kids loved it and we made it for less than $10!

64oz Chicken Broth
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1-2 (10 Count) can of refrigerated biscuits

1.Turn Crockpot on High and pour in chicken broth.
2. Cut chicken into small bite-size pieces
3. Add chicken to Crockpot and let cook on High for 2 hours
4. Once chicken is done, open can of biscuits and tear each biscuit into 2 to 3 pieces and add to the Crockpot
5. The biscuits will float to the top. After 30 minutes stir and push biscuits down into broth. Allow to cook another 20-30 minutes on High
6. Serve warm
